Apple’s Proposal For New Emojis For People With Disabilities Earns Social Media Kudos

USA Today reports Apple’s release of a proposed series of emojis designed to “better represent individuals with disabilities” has garnered overwhelming support on social media, according to a proposal submitted to the Unicode Consortium. Social media users have enthusiastically supported the proposed emojis, the report said, calling the proposal long overdue representation.
