Arkansas Paves Way For First Execution In 12 Years

Arkansas will move forward on Thursday after the state Supreme Court overturned a lower court ruling blocking the lethal injection using vecuronium bromide, according to BBC News. The ruling will allow for the execution of Ledell Lee later on Thursday evening, the state’s first execution in 12 years though the state had originally planned to carry out eight executions in 11 days before their supply of legal injection drug, midazolam, expires on the 30th of April.
