Earthquake Reveals Ancient Secrets Hidden In Aztec Pyramid

A 7.1-magnitude earthquake that rocked Central Mexico on September 19, 2017 brought death and destruction to the area, but it turned out to be a boon for archeologists studying an ancient pyramid, IFL Science reports.This natural event actually helped archaeologists to track down the remnants of two Aztec god temples hidden within the pyramid. The temples were found within the Teopanzolco pyramid in Morelos state, near the modern city of Cuernavaca, Mexico.
